You are not one person. It is actually the sane among us that understand weâre all talking to voices in our head.
Itâs just that most of us donât notice the internal symphony of different people inside us.
Youâve got an internalized Mom. Youâve got some kind of father in there, even if you never knew your father. Any teacher, coach, friend, or lover that youâve formed an attachment to in anywayâŚall of this people inspired a different instrument that makes of the symphony you think is âyou.â
Psychology has a word for the âstyleâ our internal symphony plays.
It is called our Explanatory Style.
Your Explanatory style is how your different parts storymake your experience to you.
This post is a little glimpse into this process, and how you can learn to tune your instruments if theyâre playing shit music.
